Installation of status on the premises of schools.
The Odisha high court gave the state government "last chance" to come out with a clear policy regarding installation of statues on the premises of schools.

The HC had first sought a clear policy on the matter from the school and mass education department on September 14 last year.But on January 5,the state counsel started that the draft policy has been prepared and will be finalized within two weeks and will be placed before the court with an affidavit before the next date (March 29).But when the matter was taken up,the state counsel sought more time.

Expressing their dissatisfaction, the two-judge bench of Chief Justice S Muralidhar and Justice Gourishanker Satapathy said,"Despite adjournments sought and granted on September 14 and January 5 one more adjournment is sought by the state counsel for placing the finalized policy.On last chance is granted.Finalised policy be positively placed on record by next date(June 28)".
