Bidhu Bhusan Mishra appointed as Sambalpur university VC.

Bidhu Bhusan Mishra appointed as the new vice-chancellor of Sambalpur university. Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal appointed him.

    Mishra,a retired professor of business administration,has 34 years of teaching experience. He has authored nine books and contributed 122 articles to reputed journals.He has successfully  guided one DLitt,39 PhD and three MPil scholars.He has been appointed for a period of four years.

    Mishra said he will lay emphasis on three major things after taking charge.I will work to strengthen the academic part.Next is the visit of the National Assessment and Accreditation  Council(NAAC) team to Sambalpur University.I need to find out whether the university has submitted required documents before  the NAAC or not.If not,I will try and take the Accreditation  process forward.

    He also said the examination process is not streamlined.There is a complaint  regarding  delay in exams.I will try to streamline the process  and publication  for results,he added.
